Presentation of ASp
ASp - la revue du GERAS
ASp, founded in 1993, publishes peer-reviewed research articles, research notes, teaching reports, and book reviews related to the field of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) for both teaching and research twice a year.
The thematic and non-thematic issues aim to give an insight into ESP, notably in its linguistic, discursive, cultural and didactic aspects, and also to develop our knowledge of the various specific English registers used for different purposes. Various analytical frameworks can be adopted: discourse (discourse analysis, genre study, pragmatics), corpus and phraseology, cultural studies, didactics (second language learning theories, ESP teaching, ergonomics, ICT…), linguistic events and grammar, terminology, specialised translation.
The journal publishes in French and in English.
The journal has an editorial board and an academic advisory panel. It publishes two issues per year, in spring and in autumn.
Past issues are available online at http://journals.openedition.org/asp and instructions for authors at https://journals.openedition.org/asp/553/ .
